All you can eat buffet ..

Finally, today I got time to connect a wireless router to the cable modem after getting my internet connection last week.

I already had a wireless router with me so I did not buy any new one. However after getting internet I realized that I missed the power adapter for my router. So I ordered one fancy one from Amazon.com which arrived yesterday. Today I connected that to my router and it starting smelling smoke!! . There goes my wireless router and a fancy adapter to a waste.

Already having "burnt" a hole in my pocket due to a stupid fancy adapter I decided to look for something on craiglist. I found a person selling his brand new Belkin router for $10. Better he had written that he would get it to anyones house !!. I called him and an elderly guy was there at my place in 10 mins !!. He said "I love craiglist" ... so do I :)

Bottom line:  If you need something that people my resale , check online. You ll reuse stuff and reduce your carbon footprint, save money and might get it instantly and live happily ever after :)

P.S: So what is "All you can eat buffet" .. that's the name of my wi-fi connection. I found all the other ones near me sound pretty boring so I spiced it up a bit :). The pic above is the brand new router that I got.
