At-last, I ordered my first item on Amazon.com !! [Motorolla Cable Modem]. Now I don't have to sheepishly tell my colleagues or friends that I have never ordered anything on Amazon.
Apart from that, I was experimenting living without Internet connection at my house !!! [you heard it right !!] Most of the people who know me can testify that I have never managed to sleep before 2am regularly ..the culprit being reading blogs, stuff online. However, when I moved into my new apt, I was being lazy in getting a connection [It has a free wifi lounge which closes at midnight]. This had put brakes on my internet usage and I was liking it. Reading books, sleeping early and living out more in the real world was good.
However, eventually few things I was planning to do were getting starved due to lack of connection .. but honestly .. I missed you Internet. Hopefully I will still manage to shut-down at midnight !!

I never really thought I could get so used to having internet all around. Seeing your experiment, I guess, I would also love to venture into being 'link' free for a bit ;-)
ReplyDeleteDid you stay internet free to enjoy the summer? I guess with the fall setting in, its raining all over. Have no option but to stay in eh? :( It's been raining for the last 2 weekends here and even though I went running a couple of times, I ended up staying in all weekend :(
