Bad Charger Weekend ..

This week flew fast, mainly because I was primary on call. A front-line engineer who joined the team few months back and freaked out after seeing some latency jumps. It took me to be woken at 330am to calm him down that all is well .. talk about parenting :)

The remaining week was okay and I was never pager outside office hours and I thought ah ..the big hurdles are over and now its just the weekend. However I was partially correct. I got paged few times on sunday and also while I was attending a "pot-luck" at a colleagues place. I had to do some emergency bug deployments for an hour during the pot-luck. Luckily all my team mates and mgrs were in the house so i didn't feel odd man out :). Btw I made Channa Masala and got to eat biryani, sushi, pumpkin pie, jelly pudding etc etc in return. Not a bad deal eh ?.Every one got their toddlers who took over the TV and made us watch dinosaur train and some Ant Kingdom animated movie apart from playing Kinect  :)

But the highlight of the weekend was me forgetting chargers. I forgot my phone charger at office on friday so I was not able to charge my phone.I had to use a 19th century phone that I had luckily. And then at my coleague's place I forgot laptop charger and when I got paged couldn't start my laptop. Had to rush to a a friend to complete the work.

Hmm .. allz well that ends well I guess ..


P.S: In pic, Sweets and Namkin I got this week from Home for Diwali .. yay :). Those living in Seattle come down before it gets over ..
