Snow in Seattle ..

On Mon 22, Seattle got its first snow of the season. Normally it doesn't snow in Seattle, which clearly indicates that winters all over could be much worse this year !. However, the snow did give everyone to talk about something other than rains!!

The most inconvenient part was that not all roads were cleared of snow and salt was not sprayed on roads. This resulted into the snow quickly turn into ice due to wind. Result: check out this video . Offcourse it is a bit of exaggeration and that was not the case all over.
However people were quick to go home from work during mid-day :). It reminded about the time when I was a kid , I would be so delighted by power loss in nights .. because it meant I wont be able study at home and hence would run out to play :). Well that was kind of emotions I experienced !!.

Apparently, around the same time as people were rushing out of office an offcer shot a guy dead!! This added to the traffic and confusion.

P.S:
Well .. what happens when a bunch of people trying to write some code and do some designs see snow!!. They drop everything and start hitting each other ..... with snow balls offcourse :). Thats what me and my team mates did!. Ironically people who were excited to go snow fighting were from Ithaca/Toronto, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Upstate NY !!.
Later, I secretly smuggled a snow ball and kept it in the fridge in my office. The next day one of my team mate opened the window, made a snow ball and threw it towards me. I leaped towards the fridge and used my secret snow ball ;) !! .. Better prepared than be sorry :P
