"Black Friday" .. heard of it since long and now also experienced it. I am not sure if you get any better deals on this day but it surely makes you shop !!.
Thats what happened to me last week. I wanted to see what is the big excitement to get deals in the morning in the mall, so I went there in the morning @630 [Well you are supposed to get there at 2-4am to see the excitement but this counts as an effort :P]. Interesting part is friends and family back home were even more excited !! If you are from India you know how the word "dicount" can overthrow normal life !!. So they gave me a list of things to shop!
So including black Friday and Cyber Monday , I ended up getting some clothes and few electronics and stuff.Interestingly all of the deals are still available even a week after blackfriday .. ha ha :P. Here are the deals I used:
1 Canon T2i DSLR, 2 Intel i7 lennovo laptops , 1 Vaccum Cleaner , 1 swiss army pocket knife
Still need to get 2 point and shoot cameras !!
So the bottom line is, during black Friday getting a deal is like a challenge thrown at you. You never know if a deal is good enough. In the end you throw your card and buy everything you looked at :)
P.S:
Yes there are some very very good deals which are 'sprinkled' around. While you try to find them you are confused enough to buy normal ones. I should have taken more lesson in Sales&Marketing I guess..
