Android won !!

Disclaimer: my friend Sharon put in a lot of bogus votes for Android !! .. so its not possible to determine true results of the poll.

However, I recently purchased an Android phone and here are the reasons why it won for me [not in that order] Vs Iphone :

=>I got Samsung Captivate for $40 as against Iphone4 for $200
=>The phone is as good as iphone4 [and expected to get even faster with the new OS update] in all respects and it has all the advantages of being on the Droid OS !!
=>It is from AT&T so I just pay $15 per month for data as opposed to $30 on Verizon. Also all my friends are on AT&T
=>Deep down I wanted Droid to win :). Its something like you wanting Sachin to score the century though it doesnt matter if Sachin scores it or Ganguly !![hi-fi's to ppl who recognized the pun in that statement :)] [These are cricket players for those who do might not be aware ..]




P.S: The picture of my Samsung Captivate which was shipped to me yesterday.I am still not sure if I do need a smartphone but I had to get a new connection in US so I decided to rather get a good phone as well !
